Drone Operator Training Workshop

FAA Part 107 Exam for Remote Pilot

Join us for an engaging training experience focused on the remote pilot certification. Participants will have the opportunity to learn drone regulations by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and operation topics.

This workshop is provided by Dr. Zhe Yin, PE , a civil engineering faculty member at UTA and Remote-Pilot-in-Command of UTA’s Construction Drone Club, to help participants build knowledge areas for preparing and passing the FAA Part 107 Exam for commercial and recreational drone operations

In person at: University of Texas at Arlington- Nedderman Hall - 416 Yates St, Arlington, TX 76010 - Room: TBD 
Time: 12:00 - 4:00 pm
Date: July 17th, 2026 & July 24th,2026 (Must attend both sessions to complete the workshop) 
PDH certificate provided (8 hours)
